Well our September is off to a great start! When a month starts off with a three day weekend, what's not to like?! Liam had the best time with daddy home. We also had our first adopted pet occurrence. Liam, who mind you would't go near the things a few weeks ago, is obsessed with worms all of a sudden. One in particular he named "Yippee". We spent the good part of an hour cracking up and catering to all of Liam's requests for Yippee. "Peas make Yippee a house Mama." "Yippee needs a hey-yo copter Mama." "Weee Yippee likes to fwy!" "Yippee needs a bed and nigh night too Mama." (All satisfied by drawing these items with chalk). Yippee also had a toy rock which Liam would throw at him and say "Catch it Yippee!"
That was all well and good until Liam stepped backwards, not looking, and squished Yippee. Oh, there where tears shed and much sadness! But all was well when daddy dug up another Yippee.
I think being two is going to be quite the adventure for us all.
We also managed to fit in a trip to the zoo, some time at the skate park, and since it has cooled I have been getting into the groove of running every morning, even in the rain. In fact, always when it rains, its my favorite.
